When Alyssa Gallion was in high school, her and her mother started baking and selling their family’s recipe for soft hand frosted sugar cookies.

To her surprise, her classmates, friends, and teachers loved them. Since then, folks have been asking for the recipe or for Alyssa to create an official business where they can purchase them.

In 2015, Alyssa’s mother passed away from a five-year battle with breast cancer. In an effort to honor Dana, Alyssa started Lyssie Lou’s Cookie Co based on the nickname she received as a child.

Growing up, Alyssa’s mom showed her the magic of making someone's day with a compliment, a small gift, or talking about a memory that they shared. Through Lyssie Lou’s Cookie’s, Alyssa aims to bake this heartfelt message into the lives of her customers one cookie at a time.  

Our mission strives to create a community where people bring cookies to their neighbors, where folks sit and chat about their day, and ultimately create a world where sugar cookies create the sweetest memories.

Our frosted sugar cookies are delicious, but the ingredients of giving and sharing with love are much bigger.
